🇸🇪 The last few days have been very interesting for HABITER2030 in Växjö, Sweden
The aim is clear : to accelerate the transition to a circular building sector through backcasting solutions » among others.
💡 But do you know what is backcasting ?
Backcasting is a planning method that starts by defining a desirable future, then works backwards to identify the policies and programs that will link that future to the present. So, we have to focus on priority advances to reach the target.
🌱 It also integrates stakeholders on common goals, enables a framework of trust, increases necessary skills, and seals 7 regional circular agreements for at least a 25% reduction in the material footprint.
The two-day program alternated between visits, workshops and masterclasses. ♻️In particular, Krushna Mahapatra introduced us to the notion of taxonomy (common framework) linked to circularity economy, which has to be studied to go further in the project.
🙌 We will be hosting the next partner meeting on November 20 and 21th in Lille and Loos-en-Gohelle with Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Lille and CD2E.
